The architect is the one who has the vocation through his art, to build something necessary and permanent. Not only to be looked at or understood, but to be lived in, to live better in.

Enriched by experiences acquired in major architectural agencies, Edouard FOSSE created ALTOBRACO studio in 2018 which aims to explore the different scales of project. From the collective urban to the intimate housing scale, the studio strives to develop a contemporary and sensitive reflection on architecture. The specific challenges of each project allow us to establish a singular design process to create and accompany towards a global architectural coherence. For this reason, the studio also develops furniture projects linked to the places and architectures created.

Through the dialogue established between architecture, environment and consumption, is born a desire to combine the obviousness of material and exploration of its application. This creative language, specific to each site, is how the ALTOBRACO studio is questioning everyday posture and practice of the architect.

The studio took part in the incubator Échelle Un — Promotion 2022.
